B&T Srl was founded in Italy in 1991 to research and develop functional ingredients derived from Olive Oil for use in personal care formulations. B&T supports research at several Italian universities involved in the study of the chemistry of olive oil, in order to explore new applications for olive oil derivatives in personal care. This research has led to new manufacturing processes and the production of stable products with many different functionalities.

B&T's product range includes:

- Emulsifiers which also enhance the skin-feel, spreadability, absorption and moisturisation of personal care formulations.

- Mild foaming Surfactants which can help to reduce irritation caused by other surfactants.

- Emollients and moisturising waxes.

- Anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory active ingredient derived from Olive Leaf.
